Friends invites you to a special session on sexual harassment. Organizations and researchers will share methods and practical implications on sexual harassment and bullying. Gender-based violence such as sexual harassment/bullying is a normalized part of children and young people’s everyday lives where norms around femininity/masculinity are central drivers. Join us for a solution oriented morning session!

Bullying and migration – racism, integration and inclusion
A Marcus Wallenberg symposium

Join us in for a special scientific symposium on bullying and migration. With support from Marcus Wallenberg Foundation the World Anti-Bullying Forum are organizing this symposium to promote collaboration between researchers and various stakeholders to develop and improve research-based efforts to reduce racist bullying and improve the well-being for students with experience of migration and other students who are exposed to racism in school.
The symposium is hosted by Prof. James O’Higgins Norman, Dublin City University, Ireland, the head of the TRIBE project (Transnational Collaboration on Bullying, Migration and Integration at School Level) and he was in 2018 named a UNESCO Chair on Tackling Bullying in Schools and Cyberspace.

Welcome Reception at Stockholm City Hall

Place: The Stockholm City Hall “Stadshuset”
The City of Stockholm is hosting a reception in Stockholm City Hall, most well-known for hosting the Nobel Prize banquet each year.
The reception begins at 19.00, please be on time. A seated meal will be served, free seating. A guide will tell you more about the city hall during the evening.
Depending on how the pandemic develops and how the opportunities will be around traveling, the facility may change. This due to the guidelines of Stockholm City, where a majority of the conference guests must be foreign.
You book your ticket when you register to the forum. The number of tickets is limited.
Conference Dinner
Date: Tuesday November 2nd, 2021
Time: 19:00-00:00
Place: Vasa Museum/ Vasamuseet
Dress code: Smart casual
The conference dinner will take place next to the Vasa ship, the world’s only preserved 17th century ship in the most visited museum in Scandinavia. The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm in 1628. After 333 years on the sea bed, the mighty warship was salvaged and the voyage could continue.
The Banquet will feature dinner and drinks along with guided tours.
To be noted: since the ship needs certain conditions to be preserved, the temperature in the building is kept to, at most, 20 degrees Celsius.

Morning Yoga

Welcome to a morning yoga session with Karin Schütz to start your day. Karin is a yoga teacher living in Stockholm. She teaches both dynamic and slow classes. This class will offer a mix of flow and slow sequences. The class suites all levels and will give you a opportunity to relax, focus on your breath and stretch out the whole body. You will feel more balanced and present for your second day of the conference. The yoga session is included in your conference ticket. Welcome!
