Robert Thornberg

Robert Thornberg is a Professor and Researcher at the Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning, Linköping University, Sweden, whose work examines the social and moral dimensions of bullying, including processes of perpetration, victimisation, and bystanding. He looks forward to the opportunity that WABF 2027 provides for reconnecting with colleagues and for exploring new collaborative possibilities. He hopes for fruitful encounters between different theoretical and methodological approaches and levels of explanation, in order to deepen our understanding of, and advance prevention and intervention efforts regarding, bullying and other forms of peer victimization.
