Pre-Conference Course

with Olweus Bullying Prevention Program

 School Coach Course

Ahead of the main Forum, delegates are invited to attend a pre-conference course delivered by the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP): the School Coach Course.

The OBPP School Coach Course prepares professionals to train and support schools in implementing OBPP. School Coaches work within their own school or district, providing training and ongoing coaching to the school’s Bullying Prevention Coordinating Committee (BPCC) — the leadership team that guides OBPP implementation.

The course includes 22 hours of interactive instruction, followed by individualised consultation with an OBPP Mentor for 18 months after the course ends. Once trained, School Coaches go on to provide ongoing support to participating schools for at least 12 months, helping to strengthen and sustain effective OBPP implementation over time.

Who Should Attend

This course is aimed at School Counsellors, Student Services Personnel, Behavioural Specialists, and other professionals who support schools in preventing and responding to bullying.
