Jun Sung Hong

Jun Sung Hong is a Professor and Researcher at the Wayne State University School of Social Work in Detroit, Michigan, USA and Co-Director of the Laboratory for the Study of Youth Inequality and Justice (in Virginia Tech). He has also been a Visiting Professor at Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea. His research focuses on bullying as it intersects with issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion — including experiences of minority groups, LGBTQ+ youth, and children and families living in poverty. He expressed a deep enthusiasm for cross-national collaboration, hoping that WABF 2027 will serve as a catalyst for new international research partnerships.
