Piji Protopsaltis is the accomplished Coordinator of the European Anti-bullying Network (EAN), an international association of civil society organizations dedicated to combating bullying and cyberbullying across Europe. Drawing on over 23 years of senior experience in international non-profit organizations, including her role as Coordinator of International Cooperation at “The Smile of the Child,” she directs EAN’s mission to coordinate anti-bullying actions, develop cross-European partnerships, and advocate for common strategies against school violence. Her work emphasizes multi-dimensional solutions, capacity building, and policy formulation, evidenced by her leadership and co-authorship on high-impact European projects like SAFER and “VR not Bullies,” which utilize innovative methods like virtual reality and the enhancement of social competencies to prevent peer aggression in digital and physical school environments.
