Piji Protopsaltis is the Coordinator of the European Antibullying Network (EAN), international non-profit-making association registered in Belgium, an active network of organizations working in and across Europe to combat the phenomenon of bullying and school violence by bringing together stakeholders working in prevention and intervention. Drawing on over 23 years of senior experience in international non-profit organizations, including her current role as Coordinator of International Cooperation at “The Smile of the Child”, she directs EAN’s mission to coordinate anti-bullying actions, develop cross-European partnerships, and advocate for common strategies against school violence. EAN’s work emphasizes multi-dimensional solutions, capacity building, and policy formulation, evidenced by its role in high-impact European projects like SAFER on the Whole School & Community Approach, and HUMAN on Digital Hate Interrupter Activism to combat structural racism promoting inter-community cooperation through digital technologies.
