WABF 2027 Keynote Speaker

James O’Higgins Norman holds the UNESCO Chair on Bullying and Cyberbullying and directs the Anti-Bullying Centre at Dublin City University. As founding Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Bullying Prevention and leader of major European studies including FUSE, PARTICIPATE, CILTER and ORBIT, he brings a sociological lens to cyberbullying and online safety. He was recently appointed to the European Commission’s Special Panel on Child Safety Online, convened by President Ursula von der Leyen, and previously chaired the World Anti-Bullying Forum in 2019. This year marks his first appearance on the WABF keynote stage itself.
