The Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) – one of Norway’s most famous hikes
If you’re extending your stay in Stavanger after the conference, we invite you to join us on a hike to the iconic Preikestolen on Saturday 14th June! This breathtaking plateau rises 600 meters above the stunning Lysefjord, offering one of Norway’s most renowned hiking experiences. Each year, over 300,000 people make the trek to Preikestolen, a round-trip journey of 8 kilometers that typically takes about four hours. The trail gains 500 meters in elevation, with some sections being quite steep. For children or those less familiar with mountain hiking, the hike may take a bit longer. It is classified as moderately difficult.

We will arrange bus transportation from Stavanger Forum and guide you on this unforgettable journey to Pulpit Rock.

Don’t forget to bring hiking boots, warm clothing, a packed lunch, and plenty of drinks. While we organize this activity with our volunteers, please note that you are responsible for your own safety during the hike.

Before signing up, be sure to review the safety guidelines carefully.

You can register additional participants for this activity.

We have a limited number of seats, so first come, first served.
